On 18th May 2015, James Cook University (JCU Singapore) conducted Scholarship Exam and Spot admission for the Indian students at Taj Club House, Chennai. The event started with registration followed by Scholarship Test, Seminar and Interview. Scholarship Test on Maths, English and GK was conducted for an hour to test the student aptitude and analytical skills. Students attending the test sincerely.
Followed by the test, the presentation was given by Mr. Det Fischer, Director of International and Marketing, James Cook University. The presentation was quite interesting and throw more light on facts about JCU, Student’s Life in Singapore. A remarkable note is that they have received "Edu Trust Star" award for their international standards in Singapore and JCU is the only University which has received this award. The presentation had International Students' Review and feedback from all over the world namely Germany, Australia, Vietnam, India, Malaysia, China, etc.
The video presentation had the introduction about the JCU campus that located in the tropics with an excellent atmosphere. The student pursuing their degree introduced about themselves. Participants could watch videos on classroom, cafeteria, library, career counseling service, lab facilities, sports and games field, club activities. It was awesome to view the campus which made us feel that we should also be a part of the JCU in the near future, said Mr. Saravanan, a student who attended this Fair. There were students who got placements at various top notch companies, who were able to excel only because of their lecturers and the opportunity that was provided by the university in organizing various events.
The students enjoy the way they study and live the life to its fullest at the JCU. Next to the presentation, students had Interview with Registrar. The qualified students received the offer letter on the spot and The "SCHOLARSHIP TEST" result will be declared this week.
